Updated List Of Scheduled Red Lobster Closures Includes 5 New NY Locations
Red Lobster plans to close more restaurants just weeks after it filed for bankruptcy, according to a new report.
In a bankruptcy petition filed on Sunday, May 19, the company listed assets of $1 billion and liabilities of $10 billion.
Days before the filing, dozens of Red Lobster locations were listed as "temporarily closed" on the company's website, including these New York locations:

Fast-casual seafood restaurant Red Lobster has abruptly closed dozens of its restaurants.
The company is also considering filing for bankruptcy protection, according to a CNN report.

An alleged drug dealer has been nabbed for the second time in three weeks by a drug task force in the region, police said.
Dutchess County resident Jaylen Shaw, age 22, of the town of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Friday, May 10, in Poughkeepsie by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task.
According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the task force, a continued investigation into Shaw's activities led to his arrest following a search of his home where "dangerous" drugs, a gun, and ammo were seized.

A man on parole with 19 prior arrests and five convictions has been nabbed again for allegedly stealing property.
Tobi C. Tobin, age 54, homeless, was arrested on Monday, April 29, in Ulster County in the town of Lloyd for criminal possession of stolen property.
According to Chief James Janso of the Lloyd Police Department, Tobin was found in possession of a stolen Trek Mountain bike and a stolen Samsung tablet.
Tobin had previously been arrested by Lloyd Police on Saturday, April 20, for criminal trespass and again on Thursday, April 25, for trespass, Janso said.

Dutchess County resident Jose J. Cruz, age 22, of Poughkeepsie, was charged multiple drugs and a weapon charge on Monday, April 15, in the town of Poughkeepsie.
According to the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office, Drug Task Force agents had been investigating the sale of fentanyl and other dangerous drugs in the Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park areas.
