She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

The 55,500-square-foot store, located in Ulster County in Ellenville, at 1 ShopRite Boulevard off Route 209, was opened in 1993 by Wakefern Food Corporation in New Jersey. 2 Women Slashed In Neck On Bridgeport Street, Suspect Nabbed A Fairfield County man is behind bars after allegedly slashing two women in the neck with a sharp weapon as they walked along a city street. The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, on Knowlton Street.  According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police officers responded to an area hospital on reports of a 47-year-old woman in the emergency room with a laceration to the neck. According to Erin Henry of the Danbury Police Department, 6-year-old Caio Deoliveria-Soares and 2-year-old Maria Deoliveria-Soares of Fairfield County in Danbury have been found safe. 27-Year-Old Drowning Victim Pulled From CT Lake A 27-year-old man drowned while swimming in a Connecticut lake at a campground.
