A 50-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle overnight in Harford County, according to Maryland State Police. Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on May 12, Maryland State Police troopers were called to the 2600 block of Whiteford Road, where it was determined Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania resident Jason Birley was riding a Honda motorcycle when he went off the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The crash occurred at about 9:20 a.m. on Monday, May 13 on the southbound ramps to Route 184 (King George Post Road) in Woodbridge, NJDOT reported. Kennett Square police are searching for a driver who they said fled the scene of an accident on Thursday, May 9. A man in a white Chrysler 200 pulled onto Center Street from Scarlett Alley and struck another car after running the stop sign on West Cypress Street, according to authorities. A vehicle veered off of Interstate 287 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10 northbound near Exit 4 (Durham Road) in South Plainfield, according to New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to a motorist aid, said Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a State Police spokesman. Upon the trooper’s arrival, a Freightliner box truck ran off the road and into a ditch, he said. There were no injuries reported, Lebron said.
