As of 11:45 a.m., the north let shoulder, left lane, and left center lane were closed. Footage from the scene shows emergency response vehicles as of 11:45 a.m.

Ashburn Arsonist Arrested More Than Year Later, Fire Marshal Says A 31-year-old arsonist has been arrested in a two separate fires in 2023, authorities in Loudoun County said. Austin Bostic, of Ashburn, is believed to have set the fires around 2:30 p.m. on April 5, 2023 on Thistledown Terrace, the county fire marshal's office said. He was charged with burning or destroying a dwelling and setting fire to woods, fences, grass, and more, officials said. He was held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

The Kawasaki operator had gotten in a collision with a Hyundai Tucson around 7 p.m. on the 600 block of South Henderson Road before the motorcyclist hit a telephone pole, local police said.
