Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Franklin Township Crash As 43-Year-Old Resident Police said they have identified the man who was killed in a crash in Somerset County on the early morning of Saturday, June 1. At 12:17 a.m., police responded to a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Easton Avenue near DeMott Lane, Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather said. Newark Men Ditch Audi Stolen From Chatham Before Brief Foot Pursuit: Njsp Two Newark residents were arrested and charged with stealing a vehicle out of Morris County on Wednesday, May 29, authorities said. Omar Deas, 25, and Rahmir Singletary, 21, stole the 2012 Audi A5 from Chatham around 4:35 p.m., Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman with the New Jersey State Police said. Irvington Man Shot In Maplewood, Police Say A 24-year-old Irvington man was shot in Maplewood on Friday, May 31, authorities said. At 11:30 p.m., officers responded to Jacoby Street near Brown Street on a report of shots fired an found a 24-year-old man lying in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds, Maplewood police said in a release. Man Dies In Morris County Crash, Prosecutor Says A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Roxbury on Friday, May 31, authorities said. At 10:30 p.m., a 2019 Madza 3 heading southbound and a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado heading northbound were involved in the crash, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. The driver of the Madza was pronounced dead at the scene, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. The driver of the Silverado was extricated from the vehicle and was transported to Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.

Two Wayne Children Battling Leukemia See Community Support Two children in Wayne are battling leukemia and the community has their backs. Fundraisers has been set up for the families of Liam Frerichs and Chiara Dell'Accio. Liam, 6, initially had a low-grade fever that ballooned to 104.2 degrees. Man Fired Gun 9X Times To Break Up Fight, Warren County Prosecutor Says A 34-year-old Port Murray man was recently arrested and charged after he fired a gun nine times in Warren County on Friday, May 24, authorities said. At 10:15 p.m., police in Mansfield Township responded to Gulick Street after receiving a report of gunfire, Acting Warren County Prosecutor Anthony Picione said. Elizabeth Man Gets 20 Years For Fatal Shooting: Prosecutor A 38-year-old Elizabeth man was sentenced to 20 years in state prison on Friday, May 24, for killing a man in December 2021, authorities said. On Dec. 16, 2021, police responded to Second Street and Bond Street and found Shamar Brown, a 34-year-old Elizabeth man with a fatal gunshot wound, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel, Elizabeth Police Director Earl Graves, and Elizabeth Police Chief Giacomo Sacca said.
