North Amityville Restaurant Shut Down After 5 Workers Charged During SLA Inspection
Five workers at a Long Island restaurant have been charged after a State Liquor Authority inspection overnight which led to the business being shut down.
According to Suffolk County Police, at around 10:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, three patrons inside Casa Bella, located in North Amityville at 577 Broadway, were found in possession of cocaine in plain view.
During the investigation, police say unclaimed drugs were also discovered on the floor.

A woman has been accused of allowing gambling and alcohol at a Long Island deli that she owns.
In response to community and area business owner’s complaints, authorities conducted an investigation at Belmont Twins Deli, located in North Babylon at 746 Belmont Ave., at approximately 7:45 p.m. Friday, April 28.
The owner of the deli, Silvia Ramirez, age 55, of West Babylon, was charged with:

Arrest Made In Glen Cove Mansion Shooting During Party
A hip-hop artist who is signed with Def Jam Recordings has been arrested in connection with the shooting of three people at a Long Island hotel.
Remy Marshall, age 26, of Brooklyn, turned himself in to Glen Cove Police on Thursday, July 21, with the help of the NYPD, said Glen Cove Lt. Det. John Nagle.
Marshall, who performs under the name "Fetty Luciano", was wanted in connection with the Sunday, July 10 shooting at the Glen Cove Mansion that left three people injured, Nagle said.

Five Charged After SLA Inspections At Long Island Restaurants, Bars
Five people were charged over the weekend on Long Island with various crimes in violation of state regulations, as well as DWI, and possession of drugs, following New York State Liquor Authority inspections.
Two people were arrested on Friday, March 5, in Huntington Station, after authorities with the Suffolk County Police along with SLA inspections in Huntington Station in response to numerous community complaints.
