Potentially Dangerous Tornado Touches Down In Montgomery County (Developing)
A dangerous tornado touched down in Montgomery County on Wednesday night, officials confirmed.
At approximately 7:15 p.m. on June 5, the National Weather Service advised that a tornado was located in Poolsville moving east at approximately 20 mph in the area.

It was also expected to impact Germantown, Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village, North Potomac, Boyds, and other surrounding communities.

Police say that a pair of parents in Montgomery County are facing neglect and murder charges after their teen daughter died in their care living in filth with eight other family members.

Motorcyclist, 41, Killed In Route 17 Crash
UPDATE: An Elmwood Park motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night in a collision with a suddenly-braking truck on Route 17 in Rochelle Park, authorities said.
"The maroon or red semi-trailer truck slowed down to a stop in the right lane of Route 17 South due to traffic ahead" around 8:40 p.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said Wednesday afternoon.
