Connecticut State Poice are asking for witnesses to a fatal crash that killed a 28-year-old Connecticut man and injured his passenger.
The crash took place in New Haven County around 2 a.m., Sunday, July 23 on I-91 near Exit 14 in Wallingford.
Windham County resident Jessie Barbosa-Santiago, age 28, of Willimantic, was driving a Suzuki GSXR1 motorcycle in the center lane when he hit the rear of a tractor-trailer in the area of Exit 14, according to state police.

Wrong-Way Driver Crashes SUV Into Car On I-91 In Rocky Hill, Police Say
Police are investigating a head-on, two-vehicle crash that happened over the weekend on I-91 in Connecticut.
The crash happened in the Hartford County town of Rocky Hill at about 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, Connecticut State Police reported.
A 2020 Mazda CX-9 Touring was going the wrong way in the left lane of I-91 northbound near Exit 22 and struck a 2012 Cadillac CTS, police said.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for the capture of a Connecticut man wanted for allegedly killing his 11-month-old daughter and dismembering her body.
The homicide took place in New Haven County in the 100 Block of Millville Ave. in Naugatuck on Friday, Nov. 18.
Christopher Francisquini, age 31, of Naugatuck, whose police say has an extensive criminal history, killed the child, Camilla, and then fled, said the Naugatuck Police.

A 25-year-old man and woman were killed after crashing into another vehicle while allegedly driving in the wrong direction on I-91.
The crash took place in Hartford County around 12:35 a.m., Friday, Sept. 23 in Windsor.

As drivers gear up for the long Labor Day weekend, Connecticut State Police are increasing patrols to catch drunk, impaired, and reckless drivers.
State police said troopers throughout the state will be conducting roving DUI patrols from midnight Friday, Sept. 2, and continuing through Monday night, Sept. 5.

Man Faces Host Of Charges After Being Found Sleeping In Stolen Car, CT State Police Say
A man is facing a host of charges after police say he was found sleeping inside a stolen vehicle in Connecticut.
On Friday, Nov. 26, at approximately 2 p.m., Connecticut State Police troopers responded to the area of I-91, Exit 6 in New Haven after a report of an unresponsive man sitting in a parked vehicle.
Upon arrival, the man was determined to have been sleeping in the right shoulder of the I-91 southbound 6 entrance ramp, Connecticut State Police said.
