A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two recent arson fires in Leesburg, authorities announced.
Jose Hernandez set two different fires on the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE, one on Sunday, June 2, and the other on Tuesday, June 4, totaling $4,000 in damage, the Loudoun County Fire Marshal's Office announced.

A married couple who lived with their children and grandchildren were identified as the two people killed in a housefire in Worcester earlier this week, according to a fundraiser for the family.
Juana Candelario, 59, and Daniel Gonzalez, 62, were married for 30 years before their deaths on Tuesday, May 28, in a house fire at their 3 Hancock St. home, the fundraiser said.

Longtime Philly Firefighter Dies On Duty, Department Says
John Garrow, a longtime battalion chief with the Philadelphia Fire Department, died while on duty this week, officials say.
Garrow passed after suffering a medical emergency during his shift on Monday, Feb. 19, PFD said in a release. He had served for 32 years, according to the department.
"Our deepest condolences to his family," wrote PFD brass. "Rest in Peace, Chief."
