Morris County Drug Dealer Found With Ammo, Heroin Sentenced For Raping Child, Prosecutor Says
A 32-year-old Jefferson Township man was sentenced to 23 years in prison on Friday, May 31, after pleading guilty to raping a child, authorities said.
Police initially began investigating Michael Figueroa for drugs, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Morris County Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Jefferson Township Police Chief Paul Castimore said.

An Atlantic City man was accused of having drugs and a loaded gun, authorities said.
Anthony Ford Jr., 20, was arrested on Thursday, May 28, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Friday, May 31. He was stopped by officers while driving on Arkansas Avenue at around 7:51 p.m.
A K9 officer smelled the presence of drugs inside Ford's vehicle. Police found a backpack with a loaded gun, 18 grams of cocaine, 43 grams of marijuana, and drug-dealing paraphernalia.

Drug-Dealing Duo Found With Heroin, Fentanyl, Crack In Toms River, Berkeley: Prosecutors
A man and a woman were accused of using two Ocean County homes to sell several drugs, including heroin mixed with fentanyl and crack cocaine, authorities said.
Nicholas Ryland, 32, of Cream Ridge, and Quadazia Scott, 33, of Berkeley Township, were arrested after a three-month investigation. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced their arrests in a news release on Tuesday, May 7.

A Lititz man who pleaded guilty to striking an Amish horse and buggy — killing an Amish teen — has been sentenced by an "English" judge but the local Amish community apparently feels differently about the tragedy.
Phillip Cornelius Sullivan, II, then 18 years old, driving a 2009 Lexus Sedan, struck a horse-drawn buggy, ejecting the driver, 18-year-old Andrew J. Stoltzfus of Honey Brook, before fleeing the scene, according to the police.
