A 33-year-old man faces federal charges after sending bomb threats to over 150 school districts, synagogues, airports, hospitals, and malls in several states, including New York and Connecticut, officials announced.
Peru resident Eddie Manuel Nunez Santos, age 33, was arrested by Peruvian authorities on Tuesday, Sept. 26 after allegedly placing a string of bomb threats in New York, Connecticut, Arizona, and Alaska in retaliation against teenage girls for them refusing to send him sexually explicit photos, the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York announced.

Massachusetts residents can sit comfy knowing that their state was ranked the best place to live by a new report.
A new study by WalletHub studied 51 factors that impact livability and compared the results for all 50 states and found that the Bay State won out over all others.

Warren County Woman, 59, Made Fake Police Report, Filed Bogus Insurance Claim: Prosecutor
A 59-year-old Warren County woman who made a false police report and filed a bogus insurance claim about a stolen pickup truck has been charged, authorities said.
Silvana Saleh, of Rose Lane in Hackettstown, told officers that her 2012 Chevy pickup truck was stolen from her barn when she was gone sometime between Friday, April 29 and Sunday, May 1, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a release with local officials on Friday, June 3.
The truck was subsequently entered in the national crime information center as stolen.

Jabin Godspower Okpako, 36, and his wife, Christine Bradley Okpako, 54, of Sayre, Pennsylvania, used three bank accounts in Nigeria to transfer funds out of the United States, prosecutors say according to the release.
