Eight years after Herbert Lyals was shot and killed on his birthday, two men are charged with his murder, prosecutors say.
George Javon Clark, 33, and John Marquis Wilson, 43, were charged with murder and related counts following a grand jury investigation, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said on Friday, April 5.
Lyals, 38, was found dead on the 5000 block of Truman Street in Bristol Township on July 27, 2016, according to investigators.

A man convicted in a 2020 Bristol Township murder received a life sentence in a Bucks County court on Tuesday, Jan. 23, according to the District Attorney's Office.
A jury found Robert S. Christie, 37, of Trenton, New Jersey, guilty in the first-degree murder of Joshua McRae back in October, prosecutors said.
Police found the body of McRae, 31, also of Trenton, on the shoulder of I-295 near the I-95 interchange early on Jan. 19, 2020, Daily Voice reported. Prosecutors said he had been shot five times.

Skateboarder, 28, Killed In Levittown Hit-Run: Bucks County Coroner
A skateboarder succumbed to his injuries last week after he was struck in a Levittown hit-and-run, said the Bucks County Coroner's Office.
Joel Steven Moreau, 28, died from multiple injuries and his death has been ruled accidental, authorities said.
Moreau was riding near Haines Road in Bristol Township when he was fatally struck on Friday evening, Nov. 24, according to officials. Police have not announced an arrest in connection with his death.

A Bucks County man was killed in a hit-and-run accident late on Friday, Nov. 4, according to a report by LevittownNow.com.
Cian McAuliffe, 45, of Levittown, was found dead along the 6900 block of Route 13 in Bristol Township just before 8:30 p.m., the outlet wrote.
A vehicle has been impounded in connection with the killing and a possible driver has been identified, but authorities have not filed charges, the website reported.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a New Jersey man wanted for killing another Garden State resident and dumping his body along a Pennsylvania highway, PennLive reports.
Robert Christie, 36, of Trenton, was charged Friday, Aug. 12 with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, among other offenses, in the shooting death of Joshua McRae, 31, also of Trenton, the outlet says citing the Philadelphia Inquirer.
