Blaze Sparks At Northern Westchester Restaurant Blaze Sparks At Northern Westchester Restaurant
Blaze Sparks At Northern Westchester Restaurant A blaze at a Northern Westchester restaurant was stopped from being worse than it could have been thanks to the quick actions of firefighters.  The fire happened on Monday, June 6 just after 2:30 a.m. at Coral Seafood Restaurant in Yorktown Heights at 63 Route 6, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department, which helped respond to the blaze.  Thanks to the work of fire crews, more extensive damage to the building was prevented, the department said.  The cause of the fire was not released.

27-Year-Old Drowning Victim Pulled From CT Lake A 27-year-old man drowned while swimming in a Connecticut lake at a campground. The incident occurred in Litchfield County at the Point Folly Campground in Bantam around 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 8. Fleeing Suspected Car Thief 19, Plunges To Death At George Washington Bridge A teenage suspected car thief fleeing police plunged to his death at the George Washington Bridge before dawn Sunday, authorities said. The 19-year-old driver fled from a traffic stop by officers from the NYPD's 52nd Precinct in the Bronx shortly before 1:30 a.m. June 9, they said. The incident occurred in Orange County a little after midnight on Sunday, June 9, in the city of Newburgh.
